Coming as a big pride for the entire India Cements' family and alumni of Alagappa College of Technology, Anna University, Mr  N. Srinivasan, Vice-Chairman & MD, India Cements, has been honored with the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award.  Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Banwarilal Purohit presented the award to our MD at the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of Alagappa College of Technology held in Chennai recently. A large number of alumni, faculty and students attended the function. In his inspiring address, the MD recalled his memorable days in AC Tech from where he did his B.Sc (Tech) in Chemical Engineering in 1965. As an acclaimed tennis champion, he represented the college and later Madras University, and won important titles. He lauded AC Tech for growing as a glorious institution and maintaining its unique identity. India Cements took part in the expo in AC Tech and showcased the proud journey of over seven decades, contributions from MD to cement industry and sports and as a luminary of AC Tech.
